As I looked at the events that unfolded today surrounding the Obama administration's decision to try Sept. 11th mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other Guantanamo Bay detainees in civilian federal court in New York; I reflected on what a an outright insult it is to all of us who served at Ground Zero. Truly this is a slap in the face to those who have given and continue to give their lives in the war against terror (which still takes place even though political correctness deems it as a “man caused disaster”) and all Americans everywhere who believe that our constitution is being attacked as well as our God given Rights being continually used and abused by those who work and strive towards the ultimate goal of our utter and total demise.

When will this administration get it? When will those who think that terrorists from outside our country deserve the protective rights of our constitution wake up? This is totally unacceptable, and we as American should not tolerate this flagrant disrespect of our citizens and those who server at Ground Zero any longer.

Extreme Islamic Terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed

As I have stated before and I will reaffirm it again so there is no mistake on where I stand: Terrorists that murder and plan to slaughter our citizens should be treated as the sociopathic criminals that they are.

These immoral assassins are not mere common criminals but extreme militant combatants, and thus they not entitled to all the constitutional rights of legal American citizens within our federal court system. Where has our nation gone that it would even consider extending legal protections to terrorists rather than security protection to its legal citizens? Our court system was never designed for this. Our founding fathers are truly rolling over in their graves.

Our heroes who gave everything for our nation, our first responders who died in the line of duty and all of those who were taken from us in the most violent act of our lifetimes must be honored for their service, not tarnished with this disgraceful, politically correct (incorrect) and insensitive actions. We The People deserve protection and respect from those whom we elected and who are, in the end, accountable to us - We The People. Demand from your representatives an account of their actions, and exact from them their commitment that heinous action suggested by then to try these extremists here in the states this should cease and desist immediately.
